Earlier this summer, IGN broke the news that the long-dormant Legacy of Kain franchise is returning in the form of a new prequel graphic novel. Now that the Kickstarter campaign for that graphic novel is live, we can exclusively debut the teaser trailer and preview art for Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver - The Dead Shall Rise. Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin was asked what one thing he’d change about his A Song of Ice and Fire Books, and answered: “I’d have them finished." Martin spoke with the Oxford Writers’ House about his career and, while he wasn’t asked about his infamously delayed penultimate books The Winds of Winter, he was asked what he’d change from the books already written. “I don’t know, I can probably change more than one thing,” Martin said, before laughing.

The Dragon Age is an era in the history of Thedas, specifically one where nobody on the continent could seem to catch a break. Each mainline game in Bioware’s fantasy RPG series introduces a new character facing (mostly) new threats, while DLCs, novels, and comics expand on this sprawling world and, of course, its beloved characters. From the Chantry’s tales of Andraste to the darkness of the Deep Roads, Dragon Age is a franchise you can’t help but lose yourself in.

Easily one of the biggest comic book-related announcements to come out of Comic-Con last month was the news that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Naruto franchises are having a crossover. It’s not a crossover we ever expected to happen, but that’s part of what makes this pairing so exciting. IGN recently had a chance to speak with series writer Caleb Goellner via email to learn more about TMNT x Naruto and how the book weaves two wildly different ninja universes together.

Dragon Age fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the latest entry in the series, Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Now they have another project to look forward to, as Dark Horse is hard at work on an art book called The Art of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. DC is putting Black Canary back in the spotlight this November, as the publisher launches a star-studded new miniseries called Black Canary: Best of the Best. Black Canary: Best of the Best is written by Tom King (Batman, Mister Miracle) and illustrated by Ryan Sook (Legion of Super-Heroes). If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it – but you can at least tweak it. That’s pretty much been the way of the Deathadder, which has continually been one of the best gaming mice and Razer’s mainstay for well over a decade.
